Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

BudgetJet ("we", "us") is a flight price discovery service. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR.

1. What we collect

2. Why we collect email

Your email is collected solely to send you a notification when the specific flight price you asked to be alerted about drops below your target. We send one email per meaningful price drop. You can unsubscribe instantly with the link in every email.

Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — you give consent at the moment you submit the alert form.

3. What we do NOT collect

4. Data storage

Email alerts are stored in a secure database (Supabase, hosted in the EU). Your email is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. The hashed rate-limit counter is deleted automatically after 2 hours.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. We use:

6. Affiliate links

When you click "Book →", you are directed to Skyscanner via an affiliate link. Skyscanner may set its own cookies. We earn a small commission if you complete a booking. This does not affect your price.

7. Cookies and local storage

BudgetJet sets no tracking cookies. We store one item in your browser's localStorage: your language preference (e.g. "en", "hu"). This is purely functional and never leaves your device.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:
